ABOUT THIS PROJECT – This story is about one very special women’s experience with abortion and how it changed her.
I had the wonderful opportunity of interviewing Katrin back in 2019. I decided to enter her video in a contest hosted by my local Right For Life organization. It went on to win third place, and from there I entered it into the National Right to Life video contest, where it won first place. This story has touched so many people’s lives, including mine. I have a passion for raising awareness about abortion. There are so many women who have experienced the same thing Katrin did. It takes an immense amount of courage to come forth and speak knowing abortion is such a sensitive topic. I am so blessed that I was able to capture her story with the hope that others might feel comfortable sharing their story so we can continue to spread awareness.
